Weather watch | Expect more rain today

Expect more rain today as a trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers is expected to affect the country till later this evening.

According to the weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this morning, cloudy periods with some showers and isolated thunderstorms over most places is the forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group.

Isolated heavy falls expected over most places especially in the afternoon or evening.

Moderate to fresh easterly winds with moderate to rough seas.

Outlook for Sunday expect, fine apart from brief showers over Serua/Namosi, Suva/Nausori-Tailevu areas, Naitasiri, eastern Macuata and Cakaudrove, Lau and Lomaiviti group.

Elsewhere, fine with moderate to fresh southeasterly winds, moderate to rough seas and cool nights.
