“It has not only provided a valuable platform for emerging designers to showcase their collections but also created income-generating opportunities for countless designers since its inception,” he said.

“We believe in providing a platform for talented local designers to showcase their creativity, celebrate their unique perspectives, and contribute to the vibrant fashion scene.”

Fashion Week Ltd managing director Ellen Whippy-Knight said, “We are grateful to Grand Pacific Hotel for the continued support and partnership.

“Over the years, this prestigious event has played a pivotal role in helping designers scale up their production and gain access to new markets. For it to be possible, we are always appreciative of partners that help make it happen as we continue to grow.”

As a build-up to Fiji Fashion Week and the post-show, the hotel hosted Fashion Talks by industry leaders and experts held at the GPH Matua Room on June 1 and will host a fashion show presented by Vice President and Global Creative Director at IMG Fashion Events and Properties, Jarrad Clark, on June 5.
