A Nadi woman walked away with $30,000 in cash after she took part in the Fiji Tattslotto “scratch n win” promotion at the Total Votualevu Tattslotto branch where she bought the winning ticket in February this year.

The lucky winner Dilaisa Rata Delana, 43, was officially handed the prize money this week.

Company senior manager Lusiana Tamarisi said Ms Delana was the second lucky winner for their current facing of scratch ticket series.

“Not only is she our second lucky winner, she is our second female winner post-COVID,” said Ms Tamarisi.

“That is very incredible.

“We are expecting one more to be won very very soon and it would be the last major prize ticket for this series.”

Total Votualevu Service Station director Sharneen Narain congratulated Ms Delana on her win.

“We are very pleased to have been in partnership with Fiji Lotto from our opening in 2019 and to be able to offer Lotto and scratchy winning opportunities to the people of Votualevu and broader Nadi areas,” he said.

“This is our first win at our location. Over the past three years we have had multiple winners across all the Lotto offerings (Oz Lotto, Powerball and Saturday Lotto) and scratchy.

“It has been great to see people winning and look forward to sharing more winning moments with customers.

“Amongst other things during COVID like any other businesses, our lottery business was significantly affected over the last two years, undeniably, however, that did not stop the public from trying out their luck in our Fiji Scratch Tickets.”
